Darn tasty Brown Ale
2019 marks the fourteenth year of celebrating and commemorating the life of our friend, Bob Hirsch.
Charles “Bob” Hirsch (1984-2005) is our inspiration for Bob’s Brown Ale, having fought cancer for half of his 21 years. We brew this beer in his memory and donate 100% of what we take in to RMHC. Bob’s mom, Sue, chose RMHC as the recipient charity for our donation, saying, “They put us up for treatment every time we came in from Alaska.”
We release Bob's Brown Ale on May 14th, Bob's birthday, every year. In 2019 we're releasing it a couple days early, May 11, along with an IPA version. Look for it in growlers at the brewery, and at participating bars and restaurants around Washington and Idaho.
And the beer? It's a big, hoppy brown and so, so tasty.
Released by May 14th every year!
